2010 RIDE CALENDAR
FEB Sun 28 ; Mount AinslieStarting from the Justice John Hope reserve on Anthill St, into the Mount Ainslie reserve, lunch and around and back to Anthill Street. Approx 3-4 hours with lunch.
MARCH Sun 28 ; Stromlo Moonlight Ride Starting from the southern end of Stromlo agistment centre, ride through the Stromlo Forest trails. Leave at about 5.30pm, approx 2 hours.
APRIL Sat 24 ; Standardbred Information Day @ Riverview Agistment Centre. Information session in morning, ridden clinic after lunch. Price TBA
MAY Sun 30 ; Trail Dressage Day at Stromlo Agistment. A fun take on dressage - have a go!
JUNE; TBA
JULY Sun 25 ; Social Day/Meeting
AUG 29 ; Yarralumla Woolshed, Arboretum to Dairy Hill lunch at end of ride. Approx 3hours
SEPT Sun 26 ; Bredbo - Shepherds Hut. Lunch on the trail. Approx 4-5 hours including lunch and morning tea
OCT 31 ; Navigation Ride location TBA
NOV 27/28 ;Weekend Camp
DEC: Xmas party at the Canberra HRC Christmas Cup
Standardbreds Unharnessed is an ATHRA affiliated riding club and ride under the ATHRA Code of Conduct.
Membership is $70 adults, $55 juniors. ATHRA Membership included in this fee covers Public and Private liability insurance and also enables you to ride with any ATHRA club in Australia.
Membership is open to all horse riders regardless of the breed of your horse. The only requirement is to want to enjoy our great outdoors the best way possible - on horseback!
Non riding family/support crew are welcome to attend rides and covered by the club insurance.
Visitors are welcome and allowed 2 rides ($15 ride fee) before being required to join.
