Ridden Standardbreds
2010 Canberra Cup
As part of the Carnival of Cups Harness Racing meeting Standardbreds Unharnessed had a Parade of Ridden Standardbreds down the home straight between 2 of the feature races. This was a wonderful chance to promote the breed and for the owners to show off their horses.
Ten horses took part in the parade showing the versatilitly of the Standardbred. We had horses from 14'2hh to 17'3hh, ridden in English, Western, Aussie Stock and Bitless gear. Our riders were aged 9,12,14 and up.
A great night enjoyed by the spectators and everyone involved.
