Kalimbah Standardbreds - Dedicated to promoting the Standardbred Pleasure Horse

Starting the Standardbred
Under Saddle Clinic

With over 4 years working exclusively with Standardbreds and over 60 Standardbreds transitioned to saddle, Kalimbah has developed a specialised training program to make the shift from harness to saddle as easy and smooth as possible.

"It certinately was an amazing experience to see a OTTSB getting a first taste of a rider being on his back! I have never seen such a relaxed way of training before. Pressure, release... makes so much more sense. You're awesome Pieta, was wonderful to watch you in action."

"I am still on a high from the demo Peita, Shadow was delightful. The Police force are getting one very special boy. I can not wait to start applying the ground work to my boys, it just made so much sense, thankyou you are a true inspiration."

"Your horsemanship demonstration was very kind and a pleasure to observe.  Sharing your knowledge, encouraging discussion and participation, it provided an interactive atmosphere and learning environment.Once again thank you!  Also, thanks has to go to Bianca for sharing her property and baked slices - Yum!  While Shadow I'm sure will become a wonderful ambassador to the cause.  And finally, to all the other people who attended that have taken the experience away with them to share with others. Yours with much appreciation, Virginia Congdon "
